The Copa Pacifica is Right Around the Corner!
This year (2017) marks the historic, twenty (20) year anniversary of OCKMMA’s Resident Black-Belt Master Cleber Luciano’s Jiu-Jitsu tournament — the Copa Pacifica. This year’s tournament will take place as usual and once again at Ocean View High School (17071 Gothard St., Huntington Beach, CA 92647). Mark your calendars, don your Gis and prepare yourselves — for the Copa-Pacifica is THIS coming weekend (Saturday, April 22, 2017 and Sunday, April 23, 2017).
Master Cleber Luciano was born and raised in Brazil, South America. He started training in Judo at the tender age of five years old. He then started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the tender age of seven years old.
Master Cleber was only nineteen (19) years old when he received his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from none other than the legendary Professor Royler Gracie himself. Master Cleber also holds a Black Belt in Judo.
Master Cleber is not only an amazing and motivational coach, he is also no stranger to the competition world. In fact, he is a Seven Time World Champion; a Six Time Pan-Am Champion; a Three Time No-Gi World Champion; and a Three Time US Open Champion. He continues to compete – and dominate – in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world. Master Cleber is also one of OCKMMA’s Three, Resident Black-Belts.
OCKMMA is proud to be a “Sister Academy” to Master Cleber’s Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Huntington Beach. We are also proud to be a part of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu system. OCKMMA will be at the tournament in full-force and ready to compete. Don’t miss out on this amazing tournament — and don’t miss out on your opportunity to compete in one of Orange County’s longest-running, and most well-attended Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament!
OCKMMA always competes and always shows support for Master Cleber and the Copa-Pacifica. This year will be no different — and the OCKMMA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team, led by Professor Coach Mohammad Bakhtiari, will make an appearance and represent at this year’s Copa Pacifica Tournament.
