Ground & Pound

From the Mount Position, a fighter can deliver devastating strikes to his opponent from the top with little danger of being hit back effectively. Straight punches, hooks, elbow strikes and hammer fists can all be used from the mount. ¬†Known affectionately as the “Ground & Pound”!

Punch straight down between his guard.



Circular punches going around his guard.



Control his head or post with the other hand and deliver inward elbow strikes to the head.

Trap an arm and backhand strike using the forearm or the fist.
