New Schedule, New Classes!

NEW SCHEDULE & CLASSES GUIDE

Launching Monday, October 8th, 2018

We here at OC Kickboxing & Mixed Martial Arts, Inc. are constantly striving to bring you the finest and most practical martial arts training in Southern California. As some of you may know, we’ve been quietly working in the background on updating our programming and scheduling.

We strive to have the best schedule in Orange County, but with all of the popular programs offer, the schedule does need to be updated from time to time.  Some classes have moved within the schedule, some have merged into other classes, and some have been removed until further notice.

After a lot of hard work and after talking to our members, we’re excited to announce that we are releasing a new, updated schedule and revised programming to better serve our members.  Our updated schedule and revised programming rolls out this coming Monday, October 8th, 2018,

Some changes have been made across most adult programs (not kids), so please review the schedule and confirm your class times and rooms for next week.

Martial Arts Classes Update

New Class … Sparring Club!

Our Fight Team classes are converting to “Sparring Club”.  These exciting new classes will take place Tuesdays & Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and will be taught by Kru Greg Beecroft – one of our most senior & most experienced Instructors.

This class will combine sparring drills, themed sparring, and free sparring.  It is also open to any and all  intermediate-level and above students of any striking class (CAP-ADV).

“Combat Ready” Classes

This exciting new program replaces our Muay Thai & MMA Foundations Classes.  Students currently in these classes will have the choice to adopt the Combat Ready class into their schedule, or, with instructor approval, move onto our intermediate level classes, formally known as CAP classes.  

Curriculum will cover all the techniques you need to know to learn basic self defense and move into our intermediate classes.  You’ll learn the basic stance, footwork, body mechanics, strikes, and defensive movements across all of our striking arts.

We’ll even be incorporating some street self defense moves such as eye gouges and throws, so that you feel prepared to defend yourself by the time you finish the course.  If you’re in our Kickboxing Program and have always wanted to learn a little more but not commit to a martial art, then this class is ALSO for you!

CAP Classes are Now Intermediate and Advanced Classes

Our intermediate and advanced level classes (formerly known as CAP classes), are now categorized as Intermediate and Advanced Classes.

Muay Thai “CAP” & Advanced

Muay Thai CAP and Advanced classes are now merged into a single class for most days.

Combat Fitness Class Updates

Kickboxing

Classes will be moving up 15 minutes on T/TH, starting at 3:45pm.  E.g., the 4pm Kickboxing class will now start at 3:45pm and the 4:45pm class will now be held at 4:30pm, etc.

Combat Conditioning (BootCamp)

Due to popularity, the 5pm classes will be cancelled on M/W until further notice.  

Yoga

Yoga classes have been moved to 6:45am-7:30am to minimize downtime between the Combat Conditioning and Yoga class
