Anissa Meksen is a French boxer and Champion of Europe, France and the World several times over. She is an 11 Times World Champion; an 11 Times French Champion; and a 5 Times European Champion. She was a member of the French Savate Team from 2006 to 2013; ranked Number 1 in the world by the Federation Internationale de Savate from 2007 to 2013; and she was crowned “Best Boxer of the Year” in 2014. Who Is Anissa Meksen?

Anissa Meksen was born on April 28, 1988 in Nancy, France. As a child, she displayed a strong aptitude for combat sports and trained in judo, karate and jiu-jitsu. Anissa was introduced to boxing at the age of 12 by her brother Mehdi – and her life-long love affair with boxing began.

She made her fighting debut at the age of 12 in a local club (vandopérien) where she stayed for four years. When she was 16, Anissa  joined another club (OFP Pompey) where she stayed for two years. When she was 18, Anissa joined a high level structure in Toulouse and combined her love of combat sports with her studies where she stayed for three years.

In August 2013, supervised by her professional team, Anissa Meksen decided to leave for Thailand to compete in the S1 World Championship on the Queen’s birthday. She wins the points against her Thai opponent and wins her S1 world belt.

It goes on in 2014 with twelve victories for twelve fights. She defeated the undefeated Turkish champion Funda Diken by TKO. She won the WBC  belt and is crowned the European Champion in Muay Thai. She also won a World Belt in Thailand at the WPMF World Championship.

In June 2015, Anissa won her WFC European belt at Road to Bangkok 3 against Yolande Alonso and became for the second time champion of Europe in Muay Thai. Then in August 2015, she won a world title by winning the VWS belt against Sylwia Juskiewcicz.

On November 28, 2015, she won her 9th world champion after her victory over Maria Salome Lobo at the Victory World Series. On March 26, 2016, she seized the WBC World ?Belt against Germany’s Meryem Uslu and became world champion for the 10th time.

In April 2017, she made her first professional debut in boxing at the Astroballe of Villeurbanne. She won by decision againstRomanian Gabriella Mezei. In 2017 Anissa Meksen defeated Tiffany van Soest to win the Glory title.
